I shot Emilie & Charlie's wedding on a beautiful crisp and sunny Fall afternoon last year. They met over 8 years ago at a neighbourhood restaurant where they really hit it off. Emilie recounted to her friend that she was dissappointed that Charlie did not ask for her number at the end of the night before they parted ways. Charlie thought he was punching above his weight so he was delighted to find out through the grapevine that Emilie was interested. Once he got the green light, he did not hesitate to get in touch with her and the rest is history. The pair have been on numerous adventures since they got together: spending months travelling South America and other parts of the world. As I was bathing in the fog of their chemistry, Emilie casually dropped a few words that only the two of them understand. They made up their own code, how cute is that?! Emilie and Charlie have been so gracious and their ceremony was intimate and beautiful. I loved getting to learn about their love and their families through my camera and I wish them so much joy, health, love and happiness to come.
